lol this is my fourth video ever and it is my first time with rtcw 1.0 (others with et) also the others were with fraps.So dont expect it to be anywhere as good as the nadefest video, but enjoy it.

Nice vid. But we can definitely see the difference between the demos you recorded with Fraps and other you record with my cfg
Seems like frap makes your fps decrease to ~8FPS. Which is a lot freezing. However it's nice to see you use all the tips I gave you with demos recording.

The only thing that is missing now, it's a good footage program. Idk what did you use to make the vid but it's missing effects between scenes.
I use Ulead Video Studio to make the footage which is a big program (around 700mb) but available on BitTorrent or program like this.

Sometimes it doesn't look smooth because of that. However It is a good start and I'm sure its better than the others you made previously
Don't forgot, you can turn around the character in 3rd person, sometimes you shot at ppl but we don't see them because of the 3rd person. But you decide to repeat those scenes in 1st person which was a good idea. Good Job! Continue like that. And Also thx for that special dedication with my name written the right way (with the "?" at the end) I appreciate it.


@Headshot. You should make yourself another folder with your game. One for your demo reading and one for the game. In the worst case, copy your whole cfgs file. And make sure there's no graphic card related lines in the autoexec I gave you. If you have some problems, ask me. I will try to help you figure it out

I have 2 copies of my game, one on a jump drive and 1 on my HD.
How should I run it?
record the dmeo normal, then put the demo in my other folder, and run the game wit hthe other scripts?

@Headshot : yes copy your demos from the game's folder to the one you will use for the demo recording. Oc, the cfgs for the movie must be in the demo recording's "main" folder . Then enter the game with the demo one, open the console type /exec tp. run the demo, f11 to record, f12 to stop

it should make screenshots (A LOT of sc). tell me once you have these sc.


@Night : yes the song has mostly the beat at the right time. I try to switch from a demo to another on chorus starts or smth like that, when the beat stop and start again, etc. Yours wasn't bad!

Well I think that ReAL? could do it pretty good, but he is XNN, I'd rather have it made by kHa Productions. No offence to ReAL?
It is awesome that he showed us how to do everything for ourselves, and I thank him for that, so now we should master doing it ourselves.

np. I could make it. But oc id had my "Real? production" intro. But the major prob is that I get back to work today, so i wont have a lot of time. Usually it took me around 1wk full time.. But imo, you should make it yourself, you know what you want more than I. And you'll be proud of having done it yourself.
